Does the word "diet" immediately make you think of an unpleasant weight-loss regimen?
If it did, you are probably not alone. For example, consider the use of the term "diet" in marketing food products—it usually describes foods low in calories, such as diet soda, oats, etc..
But there is another meaning of this word. Diet can also refer to the food and drink a person consumes daily and the mental and physical circumstances connected to eating and maintain a healthy lifestyle. But it is important to know about what is health for you.
Many of you answers "health" means to looks slim for the world, but is it a right answer?
A big NO. Health is not about to look slim , thin, skinny at all..health means to be fit. And for this we all need to follow a healthy diet.
To follow a healthy diet we all need to put every nutrients like carbohydrates ( rice, flour, oats, and its products), protein ( meat, fish, egg, soyabean, milk), fat ( good to consume veg fats like cooking oil, healthy seeds), vitamins ( vegetables, fruits), minerals ( vegetables, fruits, sea foods), fibre ( oats, vegetables, fruits), water ( atleast 2-3 liters of water daily) in our plate daily. It is important to know about your body needs of each and every nutrients. According to your age, sex, body weight, physical condition the amout of nutrients will vary. You are, whatever you eat.
Choices about nourishment are very much linked to other human beings and other life forms on this planet, so healthy (and unhealthy) decisions have great impact.
